Alex Tagliani is proud to partner with Pfizer Canada Inc., the Canadian distributor of EpiPen® (epinephrine auto-injector) in an exciting new initiative to promote food allergy awareness and safety. The Summer of TAG (Treating Allergies with Genuine Care), will support Anaphylaxis Canada.
As part of The Summer of TAG, we are proud to announce the launch of a new helmet design contest for kids during the month of May (Food Allergy Awareness Month). This contest calls on kids to create their own positive food allergy awareness design and message, for a chance to have their design painted onto Alex's racing helmet that he will wear during the Toronto Indy in July -- plus tickets to the Indy race and a personal meet-and-greet with Alex while he's in Toronto for the race.
Contest is open to all kids under the age of 18 years (Canadian residents) and ends May 31, 2013, so get started today!

The circuit Mauricie is not an unknown route for the Quebec driver who has won on the circuit racing Formula Atlantic twice, in 1997 and 1998. He also ran in the Canadian Tire Series in Trois-Rivières on three occasions (2007, 2008 and 2009), where he had started in pole position during his last appearance on 16 August 2009.
In 15 starts in the Canadian series, Tagliani has one win (in Edmonton in 2008) and his best result in Trois-Rivières - 18th - was obtained in 2009.
Tagliani and Andrew Ranger fought their last duel at ICAR in Mirabel, in 2011, which ended in a controversial collision, while the teammates were competing for first place.
Before returning to race in Quebec, Tagliani continues to race next month, competing in the IndyCar series including Sao Paulo Brazil on May 5 and the Indianapolis Indy 500 on Sunday, May 26 - a race that is watched by an average over 40 million people!
